You can choose 4 specialties from over 8 individual programs
- Boat Diving: Discover pristine dive sites that cannot be reached from shore and experience the excitement of liveaboard diving. Become an SSI boat diver. You will learn all the skills and techniques you need to dive safely and comfortably from a variety of boats, including small personal craft and liveaboards.
- Perfect Buoyancy: Glide through the ocean effortlessly, extend your dive time, reduce your air consumption and more with the SSI Perfect Buoyancy specialty. No matter what your diving interest, having perfect buoyancy is the key to success.
- Navigation: Underwater navigation is a crucial dive skill, but it does not need to be difficult. Become a better, more confident diver who always knows where they are going

- Deep diving (max 40m): Are you ready to become a deep diver and explore deeper wrecks, coral-encrusted walls, reefs and more? Many exciting dive sites lie in deep waters and the SSI Deep Diving Specialty will teach you how to get there – safely and with confidence.
- Night dive and Limit Visibility: Night diving requires different skills from diving during the day. The SSI Night Diving and Limited Visibility specialty is the best way to learn about night diving and practice the techniques you will need to become a safe and confident night diver.
- Enriched Air Nitrox (40%): As a Nitrox diver, you can increase your bottom times and safety margins, plus shorten your surface intervals - so you can spend more time diving and less time waiting! In this program, you will learn new skills and increase your diving knowledge whilst learning how to safely plan and dive with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen.
- Search and Recovery: You will be taught how to use search patterns, specialized dive plans and equipment such as lift bags, lines and reels. By developing your search and communication techniques and practicing searches in a dive team, you will become a confident search and rescue diver in no time.

Advanced Open Water Diver is a recognized level when you complete 4 specialties and 24 dives. You can also get this level with training program in 3 days (6 - 8 dives) which included 4 specialties dive.
