Scuba Rangers is an exciting scuba diving course and activity club for kids aged 8 to 10 years old. It's the perfect way to introduce your child to the underwater world through safe, fun, and structured pool-based learning.
Kids will build confidence, learn responsibility, and have a blast playing underwater games and completing fun challenges all while being guided by certified professionals.

Requirements for Participation
To join the Scuba Rangers course, children must:
- Have basic swimming ability
- Be comfortable in the water
- Be in good general health
- Show a willingness to learn and follow safety rules
Parents are welcome (but not required) to attend pool training sessions. No scuba certification is needed for parents or guardians.
What’s Included?
All pool sessions are conducted in Ho Chi Minh City.
Viet Divers provides all professional scuba gear, including tanks, regulators, and child-sized buoyancy compensators (BCs).
Students must bring or purchase their own:
- Mask
- Adjustable fins
- Dive boots
- Snorkel
Basic sets can be purchased at our dive center. Let us know if your child already owns any of this equipment.
The 5 Scuba Ranger Levels
Each child receives a Scuba Rangers Kit with a manual, logbook, training video access, and a certification card. They’ll earn rewards and diplomas for completing the following levels:
- Red Ranger – Water safety, swimming, and snorkeling
- White Ranger – First time on scuba
- Blue Ranger – Scuba skills + underwater photography
- Silver Ranger – More advanced scuba games
- Demo Ranger – Demonstrate skills for family & friends

What's Next? The Scuba Rangers Club & Diving Trips
After completing the course, your child can join the Scuba Rangers Club! This includes:
- Fun diving events in the pool
- Specialties like Night Ranger, Navigation Ranger, and more
- Optional real diving trips (maximum 5m depth) with instructor supervision
These trips are a great way to create unforgettable family holidays — and inspire a lifelong love of the ocean.
Level Up! Become Certified Scuba Diver
Once your child turns 10 years old, they can join the SSI Junior Open Water Diver Course, diving up to 12m under the direct supervision of an instructor or certified adult. Scuba Rangers receive discounts on future training programs.
